Thanks for all the great comments.
You want some blanks? I have the ones I had to sign off on for my words/quilts to be used in books written by a friend for a major publisher.
Give me a day or two to dig them up.

Duh. Amazing discovery. They were actually where I thought they would be. In the folder.

This never, ever happens to me.

OK, I've a "Permission to Print/Release form for Testimonials" and a "Permission to Print Form" for the originator of the work (maker of the quilt), regardless of current ownership, for the picture of the quilt.

We have horses and I would love to do a picture of one. (My kids are all grown). You sure have a lot of opinions to choose from. Thanks for sharing.

1st - thanks for the compliments.
2nd - thanks for the input.
3rd - I would love to have more generic pics to include in the book, if you (or anyone else) has a pic that would appeal to a wide audience, let me know.
4th - anyone wanting notification of when the book is out (guess that means I really need to get it done!) please shoot me a PM, and I will put you on a list to recieve a PM when it is available. Otherwise, just watch this post, and I will add a note when it is available, directing you to the Classifieds section.

    Thanks!

I have a pic that I think would be perfect for the cover, a complete "awwwwwwww" type pic, but have not yet approached the mommy about using it, nor made it into a quilt, so am not using it. Is is a sleeping baby pic that is breathtakingly adorable.

You didn't ask but this technique appears so different from the old stained glass quilts and actual stained glass that you might want an original name for your method that will keep it from being classified with the older books. The creative people that have been posting here will surely have ideas.

Run a contest--'name this method' and give the winner a first edition.
    Great idea - any suggestions?

I like #2 only with some of the blue washed over photo as in #1. I would leave out the blue dots though because those are distracting and would not be part of the finished quilt. I agree what someone said about the title being more prominent, maybe a simpler font style????

Your quilts look like fun to do and I wish you bunches of success with this publication.
