I have not seen or heard of Lillian Vernon in so many years.
I would think that the sections are too narrow.

I use the plastic drawers you get at walmart for my scraps.

I bought some lovely copper baskets from Lowes for my FQ's and charm packs. they are the perfect size for the charms. 5.5x6.5x11 if I remember correctly and have little handles on the ends.. I keep them on bookcase shelves and can see the colors through the sides. Only problem is I'm having trouble finding more... drat!!

I found a fabric Christmas ornament box really cheaply and use it.

That is only the cardboard inside the drawer to separate spaces. Cheaper to use small boxes or something you would normally throw away. A lot of people are using the clear plastics that they get fruit in.

I find DVD/CD holders are the best for fqs as the fit is perfect. They can be found readily in thrift stores for little cost.

They are only 2 3/4" tall. Do you fold your FQ's that small?

Might work. Looks like it would be too small for me.

This is what I use for FQ's and other scraps of less than a yard. The little boxes are from Walmart, about $1 each. I clipped them together with binder clips to keep them from falling over. The size is almost perfect for FQ's, but I don't buy many FQ's so mine are mostly full of good-sized scraps, organized by color.
