That stinks! ;( I get a different story everytime I go, but the lady who was cutting last night seemed to think it was staying. *crosses fingers*

    Thank you!
I hope your Walmart carries it! ;) They have a bunch of different florals of a similar pattern but different colors. There was a purple one too I really liked, an aqua, and a more green floral. Then a whole bunch of coordinating fabrics. It was $4.97 a yard at my Walmart too, I only spent about $20 yesterday...can't be that!

Looks good to me with what you have. Enjoy making and be sure to post a picture of the finished quilt. :)

If you find the right shade of green - it can be used in most any quilt.............. love your combination. I say yes.

Are you calling the tealish fabrics pictured here green, or is there another green? I love what you have pictured, but would NOT add a limey green. I know white gets dirty easily, but I like to add a bit of white to my baby quilts. It lightens up the quilt, and lends that "pure, new baby" feel to the whole thing.
I found a fabric that is white with small widely spaced pastel polka dots, and I adore it in baby quilts. It complements pink, yellow, blue, soft green, etc. So far, I have gifted three baby quilts with that fabric worked in, in small doses, and every single person has said, "Wow, I would not have thought to add white, but I LOVE it!!"

Your fabrics are all pretty much light to medium, so white would brighten the palette. Just my two cents worth...

I vote with those that are saying include the greens you are showing. It will definitely give it the punch you want. If it is another green you haven't shown us, then??????? maybe not so much

I love what you have pictured just as it is
A white might lighten it a bit but I would not add a green in the "lime" shade.
