I don't like anything on my neck. Even the thinnest chain drives me nuts. I love pins though :)

I always wear a small scissors on a lanyard around my neck for snipping threads. I've not had a problem with it.

If I could figure out how to do it, I'd wear a seam ripper as well!
I put my seam ripper on the side of my sewing machine with that blue tacky poster stuff it is the best tip I've got from this board..

It seems from this thread that of the few that use them they love them, but very few do. i am not sure what I am going to do. I may make one just to see, but I have to think about it some more.

It depends on what I'm doing.

If I'm quilting, no, I don't want anything that could injure me LOL.

If I'm doing needlework, yes, as it's more a sit down sport and I need my scissors close by. I have a beautiful necklace that my scissors attach to for when I'm stitching.

I wear one on a string around my neck but also wear a top that has a top pocket(like a scrubs shirt) so that I put the scissor in the pocket

I have lots of scissors, but do not hang them around my neck. I guess I'm not in that big a hurry.

No I wouldn't use scissor holder that goes around my neck. The reason is....I feel like I am being choked when anything is around my neck. I can't even wear necklaces. I know that it is probably psycological but...I really don't like the feeling of being choked.

Made mine and LOVE them. However, I used kids' crafting scissors with a blunt, rounded end because I was always getting poked (around the middle, but nothing ever seemed to de-flate!). I just made my secret pal a set, too, and i included the kids' craft scissors again.
