Would you use the scissor holder that goes around your neck?

I've considered making myself a holder for my neck or something like a "tool belt or apron" to wear because I am always misplacing my sewing tools. As a former RN I was use to having pockets on my lab jacket and wearing my stethoscope around my neck.

I liked the elastic suggestion too, think I might try that too.

I wear a lanyard, with a retractable scissor holder on the end. It allows me to reach the far side of my longarm and still keep the scissors fairly close. I have had to learn to tuck the scissors into my sweatshirt or apron when I fluff a back, batting, or top to keep from getting poked in the face. Since this is 'everyday' wear for me, I'm used to it.
