Would your stash make the floor cave in?

I live in a trailer so I have to store my in a shed out back. But if I had to keep it in house it might be a bit much for the floor to handle since I've been having to replace the flooring in this old trailer( it belonged to my parents)

Not yet but I'm reminded of a engineer that I used to work with. He didn't use the library, he and his wife bought all the books they used to read. he built bookcases around the walls of one room and the last I heard, he couldn't close the doors because everything started to shift under the weight of all the books.

Her sewing room was in an upstairs bedroom above her living room. One day she came home and her sewing room was IN her living room. The floor could not support the weight of all the fabric she had and it caved in!
Would your stash cave your floor in? I keep mine divided in enough places so that it won't!

First of all I do love Marden's and try hard to get there on our return from Florida each spring. Second, maybe sew more and horde less. Just can't see all that fabric just lying around for years and not do anything with it.

Most of my stash is on a concrete floor, so I do not have to worry about it! I "only" have 22 large totes and two cabinets full....The cabinets have the poly knits I use for charity quilts. I am positive that they are much better for those who have limited resources for care and washing---and they last forever. I pick up blankets are thrift stores and yard sales instead of batting, so they can be tied for a quick finish.

I have my sewing room and stash in my spare bedroom. I live in a mobile home. I am contemplating moving to the Carolina room adjacent to my living room. Anyone have any suggestions how to do this, without creating a complete disaster in both rooms. I feel for the quilter with the caving floor. Will you homeowners insurance cover the damage? Just explain this was a natural disaster!! LOL before I cry for you.
