You got a great addition for the stash! Publicity does pay off! I spent a day this weekend putting together all the piecework for a Quilt for Kids top. Still need to put the borders on it and quilt it - hopefully this week. This is the second one I've done, and I sent them one of my own recently too. It is nice to get a well-cut kit to put together - I love to sew but I'm not fond of the cutting!

what a wonderful thing for her to do and how wonderful of you to do something like that for sick people. Sometimes you hear of someone sick and then all of a sudden they have died and you could have done something like this. I am going to get some of the fabric that I have setting around cut up and sewn into some tops that could be finished fast for something like this. thank you so much for this idea. I am also going to look into our local nursing home to see if there are people with no families who could use something like that.

Kudos to you! Wonderful story and I know the quilts will be so much appreciated. I'm glad that you received that gift of the fabric!

    Keep up the good work.
