I almost always get my blades on e-bay. There are also some great deals on machine needles in bulk.

You always have to look at shipping. It is quite common for some sellers to advertise an item with an extremely low price but high shipping. They have to pay commission only on the price (without shipping), plus if an item needs to be returned, shipping costs are not refundable (which discourages making a return!)

Yes, I love EBay. I've gotten a lot of Scotty Dog fabric which I could never find locally. I also get iron on Appliques for quilts. I'm only limited by the money I have to spend!!!

Yes -- look for shipping costs. For the blades, my shipping cost was $4.00
I've really had fun (poor checkbook) this last day or so. I have sleep apnea and use a cpap machine. I bought tubing for $18.00 --- cost at medical supply would have been $90.00 Bought a facemask setup for $50.000...cost is $150+ at medical supply. Shipping =$6.00 (got setup at 2 different places so shipping was higher). So far, I've had very good luck with purchases on Ebay. DO look at the seller's record in the upper right corner. I don't purchase from anyone with less than 98% positive record. And I like buying from someone with a large number of sales.
