Finished binding the last Xmas quilt last night. Now I can try to get my Pennies from Heaven done by the end of the year.

Oh My, I have 2 large quilts, a large wall hanging and a smaller wall hanging at my quilters right now, Hope she gets them back to me in time so I can get the binding on. Smaller things like table runners I can quilt myself, have 2 of them to finish.

Well when it comes to Christmas I'm usually an overachiever and would have purchased all gifts by end of September. However this year is different for my immediate family and couple of best friends.

Grandkids have all asked for rag lap quilt so have almost 3 of the 4 needed complete and hope to have the 4th one done by end of this week.

I have been commissioned to make two of those rag lap quilts of which one is complete and will receive materials on Wednesday to make the other one.

I still have to cut for 5 adults (family and friends) and sew for them and should be done with those by end of November or sooner depending if I am a slacker at getting it done. LOL

As for my quilt buddies from two guilds I have nice gifts for all of them. No it's nothing sewed or quilted.

Anyway when all is said and done I will have made a total of eleven lap rag quilts (two commissioned ones included).

None of my other started projects matter right now until I complete the other 7 lap rag quilts.

I have four finished, just started on four more last night! I'm using panel fabric and enhancing them (each about 3 1/2 ft. x 2 ft.). They can be used on a table for decoration or hang on the wall. (Last year I gave two queen sized quilts but my sewing space has been nonexistent until about a month ago.

I've made holiday table runners for the females so far. Plan of giving $$ to all family members over age 12. Toys to 2 younger GC and 2 GGC.

oh dear.....that doesn't sound like much time does it? I HAD 3 quilts that I hoped to make for Christmas gifts...well.. IF I sew like I did the last couple nights - I have all the blocks done and laid out and ready to sew the top together. - that quilt is for a wedding in 2 weeks.
Guess I work best under pressure.

    Or 82,080 minutes. 8-)

So however you want to count it down, if you are like me . . . . OMG I need to get started with that sewing!!!!!!!!!!!
I counted the days last week. It scared me then and scares me more now!
