Husband talked me into going to Paducah since the other quilt show moved from Chicago to Cincinnati. Figured if I was going to travel to a quilt show, might as well go to "the" show. I've not booked any classes or anything, just the hotel room (WAY up in Marion IL!). Two days. I'll hit the museum while I'm there as well.

    I'm excited!!

Enjoyed my trip there a few years ago. Every quilter should try to go at least once.

I'm going too! Going to spend the night Tues & Wed, will get up Wed go to the show & whatever else we can squeeze in, spend the night Wed. & go finish whatever else I can squeeze in. Will be glad to be out of there by Friday because they come in by bus loads & it gets so crowded you can move. Like to get the convention center done on Wed. & Thurs. If need be, will drive back down Friday or Sat. but I doubt I will need more than 2 days there. Maybe we can meet up

    Sorry I'll miss you!

I'll drive down after work on Thursday evening and spend Friday & Saturday at the show, museum, and of course Hancocks.

Have a grand time. We did Paducah 5 years ago and loved every moment. It really is something every quilter should do once....kind of like going home...lol.

Be sure and do the Eleanor Burns show at the fairgrounds. I always go there on Wednesday to the first show to try and beat the crowd. Afterward visit her large fabric tent area and store.

Very cool, Sue! I wish I was going! Can I sneak to Grundy and go in your suitcase?
