Two to three years ago I bought a box of material at a yardsale. It was a large box and had no price. I got there as they were getting on into the day. I had purchased several items and a file cabinet for my sister. AsI started to leave I saw the box of material and asked for the price. One girl said $2 and I gladly took it. I have already made 4 quilt tops and several more items from this box. It had 9 blocks for a log cabin already made and I finished that. I made three more quilt tops and last night as I was looking at the material down in the box I fould selvage names like Joan Messmore, Hoffman International and Cranston. I then knew after reading the postings here I had more than a bargain. I still have amaller box of material left. I am going to use every piece and thank God for the blessing.

I just make them and give them all away. I have one quilt top and two I am working on. I also have so me cross stitch and some table runner sets I am working on for Christmas. I don't even have my printer hooked up now. My computer is out and waiting on my SIL to visit. I have this one borrowed from my son.

Don't you just love garage sales???? I've gotten huge garbage bags full of fabric, once with one had not only huge pieces of fabric but also two quilt tops and two sets of blocks ready to be put together. I got that one for $5. Enjoy your good fortune, it was truly a blessing.
