Last year I organized all of my fabrics on those fabric boards (used comic boards), redid the book cases with embroidery/quiltig books and magazines, and was very pleased with outcome.
First of all I was very pleased with embroidered panels that I did ?? ago and forgot about them, and fabric panels I didn't know I had.
I went thru all my plastic bins (very large and medium size), and organized all the fabrics and flannels, etc. according to color in drawer bins, and another bin with projects that I have completed or have ongoing - put each set in individual gallon bags, and then into a plastic bin. All the bins and drawers are even labeled.
I put all of my decorator fabric in 6 large plastic bags - don't use them, but just can't bear to part with them ????? (and I don't even sew - just quilt and embroider).
Was a good day for organization. Tomorrow I plan on re-organizing the storage area behind bonus room.

Gee Ialmost forgot to "brag on myself" (I love this group to "talk" to, have no one else, hubby is clueless) - while sorting out my fabric - had piles of it ll over family room, I also taped my Sewing with Nancy, and Quilt in a Day, shows onto dvds from the dvr machine. I must have done about 6-8 hours worth of shows. Now I am all caught up with 2010 shows.
I just love it when a day all comes together.
