yellow brick road quilt and quilting it
#1
I have made a "Yellow Brick Road " quilt. It is pin basted and ready to be quilted but I have no earthly idea on what type of quilting design I should use on it. I am planning on hand quilting it, so any ideas would be appreciated. I don't want to do the Stitch In the Ditch. I may use some machine embroidered line designs in some of the bigger areas, but other then that, I'm at a loss. Thanks for any and all suggestions.Blessings, Nancy

You might get some ideas at this link. To get there yourself, go to Pictures, and then Quilt Gallery, and then follow the link.
(We lived in Appleton - over 30 years ago. We really liked it, and were sad to leave. I suspect it has changed significantly since we were there.)

The one I made was quilted with a large meandering pattern or a large stipple. I made matching shams and quilted them myself, just kinda followed the quilt pattern. It turned out beautiful and was very well recieved. I am from Wisconsin as well!!
