Got my finger too close to needle on my Pfaff GQ ... takes NO time at all to just zing right clear through your finger! Needle broke, nice hole in my nail - fairly close to the top of my finger. Can't feel any remnants left in my finger, so hopefully the needle just broke in the one place.

The important part - didn't get any of the spouting blood on the quilt!!

Be sure to get a tetnus shot, if you are not up to date. You need to get it within 72 hours.

There, but for the grace of God, go I. We all need to stay up to date on our tetanus shots. :-( I feel your pain.

Put the two pieces of needle together and compare to an unbroken one.
Are they the same length? If not get to a doctor.
