Doesn't it make you smile when someone really understands the phrase "customer service"? yes

Word of mouth is the best reference. I'm sure many sales will come her way because of her caring manner. :D

Can you name the quilt store? I live in Fl and might want to give them some business?

Customer service is what brings people back. The first time that I went to local LQS I was just a man. But, I went back when I needed a fabric fix and this time one of the owners actually helped me. In that month alone, I spent $500 and when I go in now, I get really good service and I enjoy going there now. I always give a two strike before I do not return.

When I was a store manager I did not lock the doors until closing time and every customer had plenty of time to complete their business. Maybe that is why I made the company's newsletter

I'm glad you were able to find that service and your fabric, can't wait to see the pictures!

They have a website and two locations, one in Crystal River and one in Ocala.

That's why we need to support our LQS ... you can't get extra help like that at Joann's, HL or WM - or online ...
When I worked at 2 LQS years ago, we would stay past 5 to help our customers quite often. We didn't push them out the door (although with a few we almost had to, they never wanted to leave!) :)
