I am addicted to both. I just can't seem to pass up a pretty piece of material, or a quilting book. I think I could open an library LOL

Guilty as charaged!!! So far I have been able to keep by stash combined to one closet, but the shelves are filling quickly. I would quilt 18/7 if I could...that leaves me 6 hours a day to shop for new fabric and books. Of all the dozens of quilts I've made though they have all found their way to an appreciative recipient so I feel my addiction is for a good cause.

I'm with you! I have books shelves in my laundy room, I also collect kids books, mostly purchased at yard sales, so when the grands come over they go home with a book!

My name is Beverly and I am a fabriholic. Even my husband commented how content I seem to be just sitting in the sewing room (formerly known as his office). Just looking at my stacks of fabric and imagining all the possible quilts they can become is exciting.

I'm guilty as all get out!! I have lots of fabrics, quilt books, cook books & over 200 regular books to read & I keep buying. I go to garage sales & if they advertise sewing items it's first on my list. I know I have enough books to read & will probably never get them all read but they just keep jumping out at me & saying "take me home, I'll be good"! Another month or so & the sales should be starting up again. Yahoo!! I guess you could say I'm addicted.
