It says it uses jelly rolls. I would buy a couple or 3, or maybe more. You can never have too many jelly rolls IMO

As I was falling asleep last night I realized that I had forgotten to take all the seams of sewing the strips together into my figures yesterday. Your 40 strips will lose about 20 inches when sewn all together so you end up with 42 x 80 instead of the 42 x 100 I had calculated yesterday. That also makes your price per yard higher as a Jelly Roll really equals 2.222 yards. Still enough for a baby quilt & probably the throw. I'd still want a few FQ's for borders and fudging room myself.

Well if it were the LQS that I use, I would call, email etc, and they would email me back to let me know. If it is a new shop they probably would also. Most shops unless they are so hungry for the money would do this as good PR.The people at my lqs know the size of my stash, know that if I buy I buy from them, only when I need to. Does this make sense?

Here is a link that shows the back page of the pattern with dimensions, fabric requirements, etc.

I'm confused. Why do you need a picture of the back? Don't you buy backing fabric based on the dimension of the completed top?

Thank you all for your help. I finally picked up the phone and called and asked. I just didn't want to have to do that - lol. I am so glad to see that trinityquilts puts that info on their web site. After all of this though I think I am gonna change my pattern. I forgot I bought a pattern a few weeks ago on the shop hop called fat quarter frolic. Just what I don't need - more projects :)
