I guess I am not someone that gets attached to material things but I would not give up my husband or my Pom!

I don't think I could live without my "lap" cat TJ, who is part dog as she follows me every where and cuddles with me a lot, even when I go to bed. I also don't think I could live without my sewing machine, my stash, but more importantly I don't think I could live without my two kids and my adorable grand daughter Zoe who will be 3 this month, as well as my dear friends.

I too think the op meant "things". It goes unsaid that all of us don't want to give up our families or faith. For me it would be awful to give up my iphone and laptop. The first thing I do each morning is get on the laptop to checkout what I've missed overnight. I would hate to give up anything in my sewing room too. I would like to think I'm not hooked on things, but I doubt if that's true.

I really meant "things" but am touched by everyone's heartfelt answers. It goes without saying that I would never give up my family, faith or rescue pup Olivia.

Faith, husband, children, grandchildren friends, fabric and rotary cutter. I can sew by hand so the machine would not be needed. Could I include boudin and dirty rice ? Hugs
