I would have to say I am a fast quilter. I have to finish one project before I start the next... no UFO's here... I can't wait till each project is completed so I can start on the next. I actually wish I was a little more ADD.. so that I could have multiple projects going... I guess I am the odd quilter...lol

I have a kitchen timer. I set it for 55 minutes. I read for 55 min, then sew for 55 min, then watch something I have TiVoed for 55 min, then I set it for 10 minutes and clean house. When that is done I go out to eat lunch with a friend or solo. Then I come home and start all over again. Sometimes I have to substitute a power nap for the house cleaning. Ahhh, life is good and I thank God several times a day for my life.

I would say when I do sew it is pretty fast. I have a few projects in the works so I share my time with those. I belong to a strip club so every other month we make a quilt so that keeps me busy as we meet the first 2 Wednesdays of the month - the rest of the time we are on our own.

I'm slow. If I try to hurry, I don't do a good job. That's why my present project has been a challange. I was trying to get it done quickly. I have learned my lesson.

All this makes my project take 5 times longer than it really could. Seems I am a slow sewer.

    How about you?
Rather like you I tend to be butterfly like [hovering/settling ] but do enjoy this method!!!

I am slow. How can it take 4 hours to do one block of the month? I don't understand it.

I agree with you but I have gotten to the point where I can sew, or iron and still enjoy a good flick....but getting on this machine (computer) to catch up on the QB, does take a good amount of
time away from the sewing machine. But being retired, I can spend a lot of time doing all of it.

I'm still claiming to be new and probably considered slow. Whenever I'm sewing my DH always says, "Step on it"!
