I booked off work today for a personal say. SOOOO many things to get caught up on, but I am sure I will still find a few moments here and there to sneak into the sewing room. ;)

OH, May!! Couldn't someone bring your machine and things down for you to work downstairs????

I have a dr.'s appt this morning, but as soon as I get back I'll be sitting to hand quilt a WIP (for toooo long). Then, this afternoon, it's back to town to bring my mom for her radiation treatment.

Since last week, I've taken it upon myself to get to the machine or the quilting at least 15 minutes everyday. It's surprising what can be done in 15 minutes. And that 15 minutes leads to 15 more minutes. I hope I can stick to it.

    Good luck May.

That really does work well. When I was getting to frustration point in my step-daughters quilt, (I WILL get this thing finished!!!!), I started getting up 1/2 early every day, but left my alarm set still for regular time as well. Amazing how much I got done in that 1/2 hour, and having the alarm set for regular time as well made sure I didn't get tooooo involved and end up being late for work. ;)

I need to be sewing because I have been so busy with work and family that I have not slowed down to even step into my craft room! :-(

    I need a mini-vacation!

I'm with geckogirl.....a mini vacation in the sewing room would be heavenly!!!!

I need to use my kitchen table for the machine quilting on the current quilt....it's too big to do on my sewing table. We had step-daughter and her beau here for the w/end, so we actually sat at the table to eat!!! I did get some more 1 1/2" squares cut, but no sewing. :( We have leftovers from the w/end, so no need to cook tonight. YAY....sewing after work!!!

    Have a great Monday everyone!
