Wink You know it's time to quit for the day when ...

... the cool design on the fabric square you just fussy cut turns out to be a loose thread leftover from the last fabric you cut.

... the 5" squares you've been cutting for the last 10 minutes were cut using a 4" template.

Ask me how I know ... [sigh]

I try to clear my quilting area so that just the tools needed are out. Why? I had both my black sharpie and my black Frixion on my table....lines with a black sharpie do not iron off the fabric!

You've been sewing for about 8 inches with no thread in the bobbin.

    You make a 66" sleeve for a 56" quilt.

I'm so sorry you've had a bad quilting day. Time to chill with a glass of wine or some lovely chocolate. Tomorrow has to be a better day!

When you don't take the time to straighten out the fabric that you just need a 3 inch square from and end up cutting a hole in the middle of the big piece!!

You realize you needed a quarter of a yard and not just a fat quarter! Time for a conversation with "Bud", Dove, and or a visit from a pizza shop. Good Lord only knows what would happen if you try to cook. That can of Dinty Moore might actually be last can of your fur babies food!

I had a day like that this summer. Everything I tried to sew, I messed up. Nothing was going right so I left and watched tv or whatever. Some days you're just not supposed to sew!
