You know you are a quilter when.......
You will iron ten yards of fabric but not the family laundry
You plan your vacation around quilt shows or quilt shops
You feel your "stash" to calm yourself in stressful times
You "see" quilts in things all around you
Please add your own.

You know you are a quilter when.......
You see someone wearing a gorgeous print, and wonder if you can borrow their clothing (or have it when they're done) because it is just the right pattern/color/shade to go in your quilt.
 I have actually done this

Moonpi: I've done the SAME thing.
You know you are a quilter when:
someone announces a little addition to the family coming in nine months and you immediately start going through your pattern stash to find just the right one for the new baby.
You know you are a quilter when:
It takes you the whole nine months to pick the pattern, fabric and actually complete the darn thing! (And all the parents have to worry about is the name!)

...When you will gladly clean and organize your sewing room for hours if necessary, but can only "allow" 15 or 20 minutes for mopping the floors in the rest of the house.
...When you lay down at night with a million things from the day causing you to toss, turn, & worry and your saving grace is the calm thinking of a fantasy fabric shopping adventure brings to your restless mind.
... You go through your house and wonder what else would look good quilted- couch pillows, seat cushions, etc...
