You know you are a quilter when your DH ask you; Do you want the shoes or the quilt? And your answer is the Quilt kit.

Funny, but my answer would be "BOTH!"

That's funny. I have to make myself spend money on anything except fabric & chocolate!!!

...When you go for fabric, buy lots more than you went for (not wearing shoes because you would rather spend your money on fabric). Find yourself sneaking it into the house and stashing it somewhere while no one is looking and hiding the receipt...

...when you sit on the potty and admire the tile floor and think- that would make an awesome quilt!

he he- someday, gonna have a quilt labeled "my bathroom floor".

I was getting ready for work today and was looking at a pair of dowdy pants and realized- I have not bought a speck of clothes for work in 4 years! That dates to when I started this obsession! I never thought I would get over the need for the latest styles, but it worked! As I sit here in my 4 year old sweater and standard black dress pants.

(I do faithfully buy new undies every 6 month, have this fear if I were to die, someone has to clean out my underwear drawer and I don't want to be embarrassed)

    LOL Barb!

How about you look at your clothes and think gee, one of these days I'm going to cut these pants up for scraps!
