You take pictures with your phone of images that would make a good quilt pattern.You simply cannot walk past fabric without looking!

In 2014, my photos from a tour of the Cathedral in Sienna, Italy, were mostly geometric floor tiles. I think they would make a great medallion quilt.

During the movie Titanic, I was drafting out the "White Star" design from the floor patterns.

When I go to one of my doctors, I'm always looking at that carpeting there and thinking what a good quilt that design would make.

When my hubby gets a compliment on one of his masks and just shrugs and says "well, my wife is a quilter"...
