You know you are a Quilter when you have threads stuck to the Velcro on your tennis shoes!

When at a garage sale, you spot a large jar full of buttons of every kind for 10 cents and you have tons of them already. Just had to have them.

the other day I was bowling. One of my teammates had alternating strikes and spares. I looked at all the X's and /s on the scoreboard and thought about a quilt border. Also when I watch a movie on tv I'm noticing wallpaper patterns or a brick wall design in the background.

You are in a class and there's an exercise to build a square from oddball shapes. Your group finishes first because the weird angles remind you of a quilt you completed last year. LOL

After working all day, you come home and feed the dogs, and get dinner on the table, and do dishes, and do a few loads a loads of wash. Then, pooped out, you put on your jammies and secretly sneak to your sewing room... You fall asleep at your sewing machine and the next day you have a dent on your head from where it hit the thingy that takes up the thread! (True story!)

You know you are a quilter when you clean out your purse and have 7 spools of thread, small scissors, thimble, and a tube of extra needles...Just saying

I may be on my way to bed but have to make one more trip out to my little quilt shop just to look around. It's a 10x12 shop separate from the house.
