You know you're a quilter if your kids ask what you bought shopping and when you say fabric, they say 'well, that's a given, what else did you get'

You know you're a quilter when your sister calls and the only places you can think to meet are quilt shops.

You know you're a quilter when you pack for a vacation, you pack an empty suitcase inside your BIG suitcase so you have room for all the fabric you intend on buying.

Oh, I like that one, but since the ONLY mode of traveling I can do at the moment is flying, that's a bit hard. Plus, my machine weighs a ton! lol

Yep, I'm a quilter :) last week at work, one of the sales admins was tossing out about 20 of the drivers' work shirts after cutting off the Pepsi label from the pockets. All were in good condition, 100% cotton in a medium blue plaid check pattern. I drug them all out of the trash can, all the time thinking "wow! these will make awsome quilts!" I even went and asked for more :)

    if...

the only gift you can think of for weddings and babies is a quilt

    and

your family and friends all own quilts you have given them (and if they don't, your next projects will go to those still without)

Last year there was a big ice storm and that day if you got to the sote between 9 and 10 am you go and extra 10 percent off the 30 percent off fabric. I made my hubby drive on the ice to get me there on time.

so. you know you are a quilter if nothing keeps you from a sale at the quilt store

another time My hubby had just got out of the hospital and you guessed it. He had to fend for himself while I went to the sale LOL
