I do too. You can't help it. Our minds are just trained to see them. We eat, sleep, and see quilts

when you are on summer vacation (I'm a teacher) and you get up at six a.m. every morning to have more quilting time.... and six a.m. is earlier than you get up during the school year!

When you sew a quilt and then decide to take it to a professional quilter and have to write a check over $150 to quilt it--------I do NOT like that part!!

Here are a few more that happened today...When you get in the car and realize you're still wearing a thimble and when you try to surprise the kids with "a fun new place to visit" and they reply, "let me guess...a quilt shop?" I was actually taking them to play mini golf!

I sit at Mass and look at the beautiful stained glass window. It's a round pattern with birds, simple feather-like designs. I even have mauve material that would work. Someday I have to go in when the sun is shining and take a picture for future reference.

    - when the first place I go to in the library is the new display quilt

    - When I envision all the horses in the pasture in quilted blankets! (still trying to figure out which fabric I could do that with!

    - wouldn't it be cute to tile a powder room, etc. with a quilt block design?

I'm walking out in public and see someone wearing something and I yell to my DH, "oh, quilt material there for sure".
