I love 'Wendy's Lament'/great ending. I'm wondering if quilting isn't an addiction but rather it is an affair.Like you love it as much as your loved one but in a different way. It is soft, close, precious to you, etc.

Instead of counting sheep to fall asleep at night you count quilt blocks.

I like that way of thinking! I would rather be called imaginative than addictive:)

My husband's computer has pictures of vacations, family activities, etc. My computer has pictures of things I think would look great in a quilt - flowers, floors, ceilings, walls, trees, etc. Quilts I've seen at shows. Lots of ideas everywhere.

You know you're a quilting addict when...
    1. The measuring tape around the neck is a standard accesory to any outfit.
    2. "Don't step on the quilt!!" is heard at pinning time.
    3. You start designing a strip quilt based on the rows of apple trees interspersed with dandelions and wagon tracks.
    4. You spend all your time watching for signs of quilt addiction LOLOL

You know ...when you go to greeting card stores or go through cards you've been sent to find colors of flowers, birds, whatever you will be appliquéing so you can taken the csrd to the fabric store and match the colors on the card to the fabric you are going to buy.
