your daughters take you shopping and won't let you enter the fabric store or fabric department because you need new cloths (they think) and you won't buy cloths if you get to the fabric store first.
My DH keeps telling me to toss my socks that have holes in them. I don't know why, my shoes cover the holes. lol
And why do I need new clothes - the old ones still fit and I can buy so much more fabric instead! I'm with you on this one.
My DH has taken to grabbing the offending sock and ripping it beyond repair and tossing it into the trash. The straw that broke that camel's back was when we were at a large western trade show, I sat down to try on a pair of boots (didn't buy them) pulled off my boot and had two toes sticking out through the hole in my sock. I thought it was hilarious, but I think DH took it seriously :-)

Has anyone here mentioned that you might be one if you look at the contents of a shirt or pants to see if it can be incorporated into a quilt later?

(I make "down & dirty" working quilts also...)

You might be a quilter if you hear creepy sounds in the house when you're home alone, but still don't leave your machine to check it out.

You might be a quilter if all you do is quilt.

Oh my gosh! I just told my coworker that the floor in our work bathroom at the hospital would make a good quilt and then I read this! Too funny. Guess I'm a quilter.
