We've talked on this board before about odd requests that have been made...I think this one may top them all!
My friend Liz, who does all kinds of sewing and repairs, is in town for a few weeks, but did not bring her sewing stuff, as she did not anticipate needing it. So she is borrowing my machine.
The project she has been asked to do is 9 foot to 12 foot double strips of fabric to be used in completing a 'witches hat' shaped roof at the Renfaire so that the caulking between sections of the roof will be secure. It will be painted over to match the roofing.
Oh and opening day of Faire is Saturday (as in day after tomorrow!)
I for one can't wait to see this finished!
