Have made many quilts, but only one of a kind.....I like trying different patterns...and different blocks. I do not "Design" my quilts, rather I prefer to use designs offered by others...in books, mags, or purchasing a specific pattern-so many out there, why rack my brain trying to create one!

I have done both, I especially like bargello heart and have made several in different sizes and always diff fabric. People seem to really like that pattern. others are one and done like others have said. But having said that, I have been quilting 30yrs so think I have hit on a lot of diff. techniques.

I like making different patterns, most of my quilts are given away. So I'm a one and done.

I was a one time quilter for a long time. Then I have made some that turned out so nice I repeated them in different colors. And when I do charity quilts I tend to do some simple patterns that work up fast and easy. These I can make pleasing to the eye with larger blocks.

I've been quilting with passion since 1971. Wow dirt was still new...
Granted I make pretty complicated quilts usually, but the Tumblers leader ender project, I just fell in love with tumblers!
I've made three and thinking about another Everything else I've done has been a one of.

It is kinda like reading a book-I never want to read the same book again. So that goes for me with making a quilt-I never want to make the same pattern (even if I have bought templates for it). Guess I get bored of making the same blocks over and over.

So far I am a one and done person. I might make variations on a theme, like different Sunbonnet Sues for example. There are too many quilts on my bucket list to afford repeats right now.

So far I've not repeated a pattern except for some postage stamp doll quilts. I like to experiment with new blocks, try new techniques, and have so many quilts on my hope list that I don't see repeating in the near future.

I’ve only been quilting about 5.5 years & haven’t done any repeats yet. My head is full of ones I want to make, much more than time or my budget will allow so I choose not to spend either on a repeat quilt.
