I have saved so many that I will never be able to make them. I do transfer them to cd's just in case.

I collect patterns too. I also collect quilt magazines. I love patterns. I enjoy looking at them and deciding on my next project.

"Pinterest" is awesome for the patterns. I like that the picture is right there when you go onto the Pinterest site. Also, as it is an online program it does not require hard drive space. Another bonus is that you can save your patterns in any category that you like. I save loads of patterns, but just really want the photo for inspiration. To answer your question, "yes, I am a pattern junkie!"

Yes, I also have many patterns. I do try to weed them out. I did have my old laptop freeze up. Thank goodness my neighbor helps me out with any problems. When she told me how many downloads & bookmarks I had I was shocked. Saved all the family pics & deleted the rest. That's why I'm trying to print or delete patterns about once a month.

WAIT!! Before you delete all these wonderful things, even if you think you might never make them. Go to the store and get a flash drive. It does not have to be in the computer, but you can still have it. I save pictures of quilts that I think are beautiful. There are 1,441 right now. I just upgraded from a 4g to a 16g. I have loads of room.

So nice to know I'm normal! At least as normal as this group, LOL. I have thousands of recipes and quilt patterns and quilt how-tos scanned from magazines and the internet. It is soooooo easy to search for something too: there is a program called agent ransack (find on google) that will search not only the filename but also the contents of the file for any word in it. Like if you want the pattern with windmills in it, but that isn't the name, you can search for windmills and the program will find it if the word is in the contents of the instructions. Or searching for a recipe that contains kiwi, just search on kiwi.
