I enjoy the piecing and quilting - but an struggling to enjoy the binding! The upside is that it's nearly finished at that point, though!

I love to do both. I study others quilting designs for inspiration for my own. My husband bought me the ruler foot and templates for Christmas so I'm learning to do more and more fun designs.

I'm a piecer, which is why I have over 1000 quilt/table runner patterns. Have been trying my hand at FMQ for about a year, but still prefer to piece.

I enjoy both piecing and fmq, but find myself dragging my feet about quilting the really big ones. I need to make fewer queen and King sized quilts. (How many bed quilts do I need?) and concentrate on lap and twin sized quilts that are easier to quilt and easier to give away.

I really like it all. Piecing is easier and less time consuming than the quilting process. However, I am trying not to accumulate UFOs. I try to budget my time and do some of each as I go along. Right now I am using two machines in two spaces. This helps a lot because I don't have to keep setting up the machine and space.

I do both piecing and quilting but the piecing part is my favorite.

I'm definitely a piecer. Like you I absolutely love seeing the design evolve from the little pieces into a neat top. I have stacks and stacks of quilt tops. I can't afford to have them quilted, so, I'm going to have to breakdown and start FMQ to complete them.

Me too, but I'm so slow. It takes me forever to decide what to quilt and then more time to work up the nerve to start. Once I start, I'm fine and usually happy with the result, so guess I should just jump in, but I tend to over think things and am very detail oriented. Love, love, love my Tiara though. It makes the quilting a joy rather than a chore or a wrestling match!
