    I've tried not pinning and end up ripping out because it doesn't match up. So yes I am a firm believer in pinning

    I only pin VERY LONG strips (sashing, borders, etc). Otherwise--no pins for me.

    :? Well, I too pin. Got into the habit from making garments, which, I still do also. I'm so use to it I don't even really think about it, just do it. :mrgreen:

    I, too, am a pinner...also a habit from when I did more garment sewing. The times I've not pinned have resulted in unmatched seams and points.
