I do buy remnants here and there, but my worst issue is I am a scrapaholic. I save everything and love scrappy quilts. The last one I did looked like a very crazy person sewed it...I love it. xoxoxo

me too - I scavenge thru the remnant bins too! My sister and I went to a Sewing Expo a few years ago and we were on our hands and knees on the floor looking thru the bins there!! Got some loooks, but also got some great deals! Love remnants!

I was at Joanne's today and buying some FQ and the clerk said to me down in the back they have some pieces larger than a FQ and all on sale so I went down and bought some for .97 and am sorry I didn't get a few more. I might have to go back tomorrow depending on the weather we are having some bad TS and very heavy rain you can't see where your going. Maybe you ladies should look at your store. Sue

I love to shop for fabric no matter FQs, remnants, scraps, etc. Our LQS has a basket with 5 to 7 inch squares of different fabrics. I usually buy the whole basket! Try not to go too often. I am trying to break my addiction but as soon as I walk into a place with fabric, I'm back on the hook!
I love "treasures" from the GW, Habitat, and Kidney Found. stores and not just for fabrics. For the love of sewing/quilting/embroidery, I succumb....

I just finished 23 polar fleece hats for my niece to take with her to a week long camp for children who have cancer. Those without hair are very susceptible to sunburns and they love these soft pull on hats. All five pieces were in the remnant collection at Joann's. My niece and her husband, a cancer survivor, volunteer there every year.

I too am a sucker for the remnants.... however you do want to watch as sometimes the fabric is on sale for 50% on the floor too! But I do have many great treasures from the bins..... Also have found awesome deals at the goodwill on fabrics.
