I like 'em all! The wonders in nature that God created range from tiny and subtle to huge and magnificent, so my tastes are right in line with his... It's all beautiful!

I have made quilts that are subtle and those that are really bright and like them both, so guess I do not have a style. I think that usually I go toward brights and pastels, not earth tones. But lately, I have found some fall prints that I really like, but they seem to be in the brighter fall colors. I do not like the "muddy colors".

Ooh, I just love batks too and mostly the bright colors, not the duller brown shades.

Trying to move outside by normal box - which always seems to lean toward the subtle colors and patterns. Working on a brighter, bolder color scheme for my granddaughter's quilt. So far, I like the change!

I love bold jewel tones, lived in Tucson and learned how beautiful turquoise and purples work together!

I never really thought of it that way. Depends on the pattern. A more traditional pattern, say double wedding ring i am a subtle sally. A ecclectic pattern, you know spikes points and such then i'm bold betty.

I used to go for bright colors and batiks. I did go thru a '30's kick a few years ago. This winter I helped our historical society with antique quilts and got interested in the stories behind quilts made during the Civil War. So I stepped out of my comfort zone and made a quilt using CW fabrics. And I like it! Sometimes it's refreshing to step out of the comfort zone.

I love the bright colors for scrappy quilts. Can not understand why people use black in a baby's quilt. Black is such a negative color, I shy away from.
