I kept telling her to let me know when they were going to plan the wedding and then they up and eloped...... so now I'm playing catch up!

I could finish about 3 tops in a couple of afternoons if I just could have several hours without interruptions... Urgh!!
I crocheted an afghan for my son's wedding gift--he wasn't to marry until I finished it. He called from Germany about 20 years ago--how's it goin' mom? So I went back to work on it. By the time I finished it, he got over the notion and hasn't married to this day.

That would be me    I finish all I start, since joining this board, I will work on more than one project at a time though.
Me too :) I have several projects going at one time, usually in different stages, but I always have to finish them when I get to the final stage.

Although I have finished many things I have started [mostly because of giving them as gifts] I would still call myself a topper because I enjoy the piecing much more than the rest. Right now I am really working at getting caught up on finishing so I won't feel so badly about starting yet another top. Really get the feeling I have accomplished a lot with doing these. So many pretty tops to try but just not enough time to finish them all.

I'm in LOVE with tops, have 50 or more smaller-than-bedsize, and I even have an excuse fpr my "habit": we have a summer cabin near the Canadian border, without electricity, thus I can quilt by hand late in the evening, since it's not dark til 9-10! kelly

I guess I am sort of both...I have two tops hangin on my closet door, and one I am going to finish. So does that make me a alien/native?

Guess I am an alien also. I just have to finish what I start. I love piecing the top; and from there, it goes downhill. If I didn't finish each top, I would have nothing but tops. I will continue to make myself finish what I start - otherwise, it seems like such a waste. - Cynthia

Just working on my second quilt. But yes I would be in the topper category. I love, love, love piecing the quilts.
