    I am also a Karen Kay Buckley fan.
    I love her small curved scissors.
    They're very sharp with a serrated blade that grabs the fabric rather than pushing it away.

    Thanks for all the responses! I am doing machine embroidery with a frame. I try my best not to remove the frame for trimming. Just too easy for the frame to come apart! Now that I have suggestions, I can decide which pair will work best for me. Thanks everyone!

    I went to e-bay and put in applique scissors and got bent blade with a duckbill.m they work great for me.

    I like the squeezers, but I have broken two pairs with out abusing them in any way. (The little metal separator just breaks and they are no good anymore.) So. I went to the curved sharp ones with regular handles. The blades are very tiny and are razor sharp.
