I just found some fabric at Joann's by April Cornell. Is she new? I fell in love with all her large prints (and I usually don't like florals). Check her out if you like large florals on dark backgrounds.

Robert Kaufman. His fabrics always catch my eye first without me knowing whose they are. And Hoffman batiks!

I have noticed that I am buying a lot of Robert Kaufman fabrics lately. So I guess that would be my answer.

I look for color, design, (and price). I did follow Douglas Day nuts, bolts design for men; Rebecca Barker designs through Elizabeth Studios on her quiltscape lines.
Kona solid colors of White & Black.

Miss Rosie's Quilt Co. True Blue kit of pattern and fabrics. Love it!!! Going to do it in Batiks, too. And Kaye England's Signature Scraps patterns. And her Voices of the past. Wing and a prayer design Tonga Nature.

I trust my quilt stores to carry good lines or listen to advice of good friends who know their designers. I am still learning all about good "designer" lines. One I stumbled across was a bamboo backing material, and now cannot find it any where. Would love to find a whole bolt of it.
