fabric.com and the fat quarter shop are my regulars..have also bought from Thousands of bolts but find their website hard to search. Recently found some modern fabric I was looking for for 50% off at AbbiMays. My favorite shop is The Meandering Thread on Etsy for really unique modern fabrics but they are pricy.

I like Marshalls, equilter, connecting threads, fabric.com and MSQCo. Never had any problem with any of these businesses.

If you love batiks, batiksgalore.com is awesome. I purchased from them online and recieved the most awesome service and sometimes they have good prices on batiks. I like nancysnotions a lot because of the shipping for notions and things, connecting threads has good sales on tools, books, and battings, their flannel is superbs as well, fabric.com, most quilt shops are very similar in price, its pays to google and shop around, and even ebay can be a good source if you know what you are looking for. there are so many good online shops i can't remember them all.

Shop on line at Connecting threads, sometimes has free shipping, Missouri Star Quilt Co, Fabric shack in Waynesville, OH are all favorites of mine. Support quilt shop in Naples, FL named FLASH for local great fabric and sometimes deals too.

I know that shipping is high but so is gas at 3.40 a gallon or more so if your car gets 18 mpg if your shop is more than 14 miles away you have spent your 5 dollars in gas. just saying
