Whittle's Fabrics has great fabrics and prices! Shipping is $5. Be sure to sign up for their e-mails when they get new fabrics posted. www.whittlesfabrics.com

I envy you living so close to Fabric Depot! I shop there online and make sure I allow myself a few hours to shop there whenever I'm in the Portland area. My other favorite online shops include: Connecting Threads (especially when their thread and batting go on sale); Fabric.com; Missouri Star (especially the Daily Deals!); Beverlys; Ericas; Homestead Hearth; Homespun Hearth; and Quilts With A Heart (deep discounts when she has a sale). Oh, and my latest find is threadbearfabrics.com

Crafttownfabrics.com has lots of nice fabric and is reasonably priced. I tend to go with the thought that shooping from home in comfy clothes is worth the cost of shipping (within reason- anything under 8.00 is reasonable in my book) I love that they have fat eighths too.

I have ordered from Connecting Threads, Shabby Fabrics and Ericas. They all were very good. What makes it even better is the shipping to Canada, it was not all that bad at all. Ordering online in canada, unless I am wrong, is pricey, the fabric is more to start with, so it is not a matter of saving, but ordering because what I want I can not find in stores. Will check back later to finish reading this thread.
