Default Your favorite online quilt shop?

New mom here and it sure is difficult to go shopping! I live an hour away from Fabric Depot so I can't imagine I'll get to go leisurely browsing through the aisles like I used too. That leads me to online fabric shopping. I've mostly bought quilting cotton from fatquartershop.com, man it's expensive though! In a recent post I made some of you brought up Missouri Star Quilt Co. I just made my first order, I didn't know they had $5 shipping! The ridiculous shipping charges is what frustrates me more than anything when buying online. So what else am I missing out on? Where do you love to shop?
Fabric is so expensive, it limits my stash :-(

Have you tried Connecting Threads? They were limited on their fabric but their prices are good.

Fabric.com! Free shipping on orders over $35, and it is soooo easy to go over $35!

One Thousand Bolts has good prices and reasonable shipping. Many sites will offer "free" shipping if you purchase $X or more.

Petermichaelfabrics.com. Excellent quality but cheaper prices and great customer service.

Connecting Threads is free shipping over $50. Their prices are very reasonable. I often go in with friends to get over $50. Fabric.com is $35 for free shipping. If I'm short there I order a spool of Aurifil thread which I love and can't get locally. The challenge I find buying on line is matching things since I rarely buy fabric from the same coordinating line. Connecting Threads changes their lines and presents them together so it is easier to tell if something will match. I usually shop the sales.

I buy quite a bit of fabric on Ebay or Amazon. On Ebay I look for sellers with free shipping. On Amazon the fabric that I order tends to come from Fabric.com or ShuShuStyle or ChristaQuilts.

I just bought the newest line from Connecting threads called Hometown Summer. it's really nice. I bought the fat quarters. 29.99 for 20 fat quarters, you can't beat that. Add a couple battings or thread and a book and there is your 50.00 for free shipping. Sometimes Fat Quarter Shop has a coupon for 20%off so that helps.

It can help to get into the habit of Googling the online store + coupon code. Sometimes I find a percent-off coupon that way, or a free shipping code.
