I love the sound of my Bernina 1530. I also have a Phaff, it sounds like it is clunking. Makes a beautiful stitch though so she is forgiven!

My handcrank singer is very smooth and very quiet. I love a fine piece of machinery.

I love my singers sound.. they tell me if I need to clean and oil..I have other machines but they never sing..just clatter

I have to ditto this. I have a Singer 15 on a HC - I really don't hear much when I sew on it. It is very peaceful to sit and sew outside and listen to the birds sing.

I like the sound of vintage Singers because they are so much quieter than the new machines.

I love the sound of my grandmothers Singer treadle that I inherited and my Kenmore, and that Kenmore 158 just makes a very soft tick tick tick especially right after a fresh oiling....so soothing.

My favorite sound is from my Embroidery machine, it does this special sound when the design is finished. A finished sound is always music to my ears. then I can start a new design.
