I saw an antique quilt a few yrs ago I just loved. It was hanging on the owners booth wall. Pricey but estimated it was from late 1800s and made an offer....that was until the shop keeper advised me of how it was hanging..the owner nailed it to the wall...omg!
I took a photo and duplicated it with same color and similar design fabrics...not from the 1800s but I love it.

Having just finished double wedding ring, I have to say it is my favorite. Then it would be Dresden Plate.

I am sort of hooked on the double wedding ring. they are a lot of work, but they feel so traditional when I am done

Log Cabin. No question about it.

Hmmm.... I would say the last block I made . Ohio star, friendship star, carpenters star, churn dash, log cabin, rail fence...... I love them all.

Another fan of the log cabin here. Like someone said, "so many settings and variations". I have always loved the crossed canoes and snails trail blocks, but sadly I have not made one yet.

I am smitten with Dresden Plate and Double Wedding Ring. I made an Ohio Star Tablerunner and fell in love with stars!
