    Me too-just the narrow brown on all four sides is all you need! Lovely quilt.

    Yes, I would add the same brown border to the top and bottom. I would also move the 2 dark piano keys next to each other on the right side but that just me.

    I would have just left the small brown borders off being as skinny as they are and just use it for the binding. Your friend is going to love it either way. Beautifully done.

    I like the brown boarder all the way around. Nice job on the quilt it came out really nice.
