I have 3 machines, but I've only named one. It's my grandmother's Centennial edition Featherweight and her name is Erma (my grandma's name). My other white Featherweight doesn't have a name, nor does my Janome QC6019. Better get on that!

My vintage Brother is named "Mike" (that is my real life brother's name- not sure how impressed he is about that) and I haven't named my new Bernina yet. I have completed one quilt on her already and am working on a second, so the name should come to me any day now.

My Bernina 440 QE is my "Baby". My white Singer Featherweight is "Blanche". Her original owner was from Mississippi, so she's a real Southern belle. My first black Singer Featherweight is "Spike", because he's one tough cookie. Made in 1936 and still going strong. I haven't named the Centennial model yet. Her serial number dates her to 1950. I'll have to play with her for a while and find out what her quirks are. I haven't named the treadle, but was thinking about naming her "Gadsden" after the "Don't Tread on Me" flag.
