I use youtube all the time. I have learned a lot of new stuff by surfing all the sewing and quilting videos.

I just used utube yesterday as I needed to do odd angle binding and wasn't sure how to do it. I watched Marci Baker's video and it really help. I have nice mitered angles.

Yes, this is a wonderful resource. I especially like the Sharon Schamber network on You Tube. Her films have helped me with several different techniques! Ain't modern technology grand?

I just recently started watching Youtube, like this site, you can find everything regarding putting that quilt together. Don't know why I never watched before.
With the demise of "Simply Quilts" a few years ago, Youtube is a great substitute - However, I video taped all the Simple Quilt shows before it was cancelled.

Absolutely love it - especially since I live in the country - no classes around - and those that are, by time you buy the stuff for the class, you have spent a fortune. Missouri Quilt is one of my super-favorites - their direction is not only so thorough but they make it look like "fun" so yes, I also pull my laptop right up to the sewing machine and follow along. I love Youtube. Also I am sure you have noticed that more and more commercial companies are turning to producing Youtube lessons - it really is a great invention.
