Today's bright idea. Make a yo yo garland to go with your quilted ornaments. Add buttons, jingle bells. Has anyone done this? I am planning a special "tree" on white branches so the ornaments show up. Maybe hang as a mobile.

I will start one. I make yo yos when I am sitting around. I am thinking of skinny ribbon. I think it would make a great group activity too. Clubs, scouts, etc. Sort of a quilter's version of stringing cranberries & popcorn!

I have one I made last year, but it's with my Christmas decorations, so sorry no pic. I thought it might look too old fashioned, not!! I loved it. I never thought about adding jingle bells, great idea!

yo-yo garland -- what a cute idea!! (If you have the AccuCut Go Cutter, they have a round die so cutting 200 of them wouldn't be a problem....) :-D
