    Default Zakka

Can anyone please explain to me what makes something "zakka style". There are heaps of things on Pinterest and other sites but nothing that seems to define it from any other form of patchwork. It's very pretty, but I just don't understand what makes it "Zakka".

    LOL! Isn't that the truth!
Maybe it's still Asian enough that we've not heard much about it here in the US.

Sounds like someone gave a fancy name to common things to make it sound more exotic. Upcycling words?

Seems it just covers handcrafts/vintage in a decorative context. Here's me stitching away and trawling Opportunity shops, unaware I may be on trend somewhere in the world

For sure! You had no idea that "bloggers out there" were making what you do all the time, famous and "trendy". At least that is how I sometimes feel.
