Love Zentangling-have made a pieced wall hanging and Zentangled on fabric and then made a small bag with the fabric. Lots you can do with it besides doing the doodling on paper.

DonnaC.....thanks for the book titles. I just looked up "Design Originals by Suzanne McNeill" and she has a ton of books....."Joy of Zentangle" is the first on listed. Is that a good one for a beginner?

Thank you! I just used some regular colored pencils after doing the original version.
Thought l would share this too; all the books I've read say to use ink after doing the first string in pencil. For some reason I have pen anxiety and can't relax and let it flow. I almost gave up on it. Then I tried doing it with just the pencil and it became the wonderful thing it is meant to be.
I go over the image with my pens after they are drawn. I may be doing it wrong, but it works for me.
Hugs and smiles and good luck.

wendiq, the Joy of Zentangle book is a great one for a beginner.

Wildyard, those are gorgeous!! I haven't been able to incorporate color yet; still doing the black-and-white.
